It amazes me that students on any level still exist that don’t know how to do a google search.
Learn how to do an internet search or you won’t make it in the world. Seriously.
A lot of the war protests were led by the so called “hippies”. These people were admittedly stealing food from a local grocery store in Ashbury Haight to hand out at their pot/lsd rallies.
You gotta be kidding.
Try about 99% of the college campuses in the country!
Ok maybe 100% depending on what you call a protest. and that was just antiwar.
This is a nonquestion. These were major civil movements of society. even if you defined “Protest”, I doubt anyone could give you a number that was the least bit accurate.
I truly do not think that all the protestations can be quantified for they were literally everywhere nation wide . The Anti-War movement gained momentum after the My Lai massacre , the Kent state shootings , the assassination of a president , a president caught up in the Watergate conspiracy , the Pentagon Papers were made public , et.al.

Good QUESTion !
